Anyone who’s ever been to The Toy Shop will know that arts and crafts are our passion, our range has a heavy bias toward the creative, so it was with huge delight to find a new product last year that was quite literally conceived on our doorstep.
When local mum and architect, Gill Logan, brought us her prototype for the Skinny Sketcher we instantly fell in love with this simple introduction to the joy of drawing. Six appealing themes cleverly deconstructed into clear, step by step instructions showing kids how to draw, suddenly the impossible becomes possible….who doesn’t remember the pleasure in finding they had discovered a new skill?
Oh, and we love the ‘coffee’ cup, it’s a fun twist, that cleverly doubles as a pencil pot – cute!
This year Gill is taking the Skinny Sketcher to new heights embracing the growing trend for colouring-in, by developing the Colour Up Cup and we’re looking forward to seeing it. It doesn’t matter if the sun is shining, chuck the kids outside with a download and packet of pencils (…why keep art activities for rainy days?)
And that’s not all…We’ve teamed up with Skinny Sketcher to help them celebrate their first birthday with a fantastic colouring in competition! You could win the FULL set of Skinny Sketcher drawing kits PLUS be one of the first to get the latest product from Skinny Sketcher, the very cool Colour Up Cup which launches in July!
To enter: Simply print off or pick up an entry form from The Toy Shop, colour it in and drop it back into the shop or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5.30pm on Mon 20 June to be in with a chance to win. Competition Terms and conditions.
